one of the most helpful aspects in making a purchasing decision is knowing the washing machine programs -which are clearly displayed on the control panel- and comparing them to your household and family needs. This is what we will practically do by discussing each key on the control panel

The Samsung 8kg front-loading washing machine control panel has two languages, Arabic and English, so all you need to do is choose the appropriate program in your preferred language.

On the right side

 Power button: To turn on the washing machine

 Start/ Pause: to start operation, after selecting the program, placing the clothes in the drum, and adding laundry detergent

At the bottom

Bubble soak button: Helps in removing tough stains

Option selection: to select wash cycle

Spin button: to choose how many cycles, ranging from 400 to 1400 cycles per minute, and the more cycles, the more drying
You can leave the laundry soaked in water if you choose not to spin

Rinse button: It determines the number of rinses, up to 5 times, depending on the type of wash cycle

Temperature: The appropriate temperature is selected according to the fabric type

Cycle selector: When the washing machine is turned on, the dial indicates cotton washing as a default selection. You can change it

Included cycles as 

Cotton: For cotton clothes and linens. The washing and rinsing duration is automatically adjusted
according to the weight.

Cotton Eco: For washing cotton items, with energy-saving mode activated, meaning the actual
temperature may be lower than the set temperature.

Synthetics: For clothes and fabrics made of Polyester, Nylon, and similar materials

Steam cleaning: For fabrics made of cotton and linen that come into direct contact with the skin, such as underwear. It is recommended to use high temperatures, between 60 and 90 degrees Celsius, for the best possible results. Steam cleaning is an important advantage in washing machines for sanitizing by eliminating bacteria

Spin + Rinse: When additional rinsing is needed, as is the case after adding fabric softener to the laundry

Drain/Dry: To drain the water into the container and run an additional drying process to effectively remove moisture from the laundry

Drum cleaning
Cleaning the drum by getting rid of dirt and bacteria, done automatically after every 40 washes, and does not require any  cleaner or bleach. All you need to do is make sure the drum is completely empty

 Quick Wash: For lightly soiled, lightweight clothes weighing  less than 2kg, which may need quick cleaning. When using this option, do not use more than 20g of solid detergents or 20ml of liquid detergents to avoid detergent residues in the laundry after it comes out of the washer

Daily Wash: For clothes used daily, such as underwear, shirts, school or work uniforms, for example

Delicates: Choosing this option means cutting any ties to handwashing, which you may have to do for washing delicate clothes that cannot withstand machine washing. You can wash transparent fabrics, bra straps, small silk women’s clothing, and other fabrics that can only be hand washed. It is recommended to use liquid detergents with this option

Wool: The wool washing cycle relies on gentle agitation and quiet soaking to protect wool fibers from shrinkage and damage. It is recommended to use a mild detergent,
and the laundry weight should not exceed 2kg

Super Eco Bubble: Placing the Eco Bubble or low-temperature bubble wash helps save energy

Colors: Washing colored clothes relies on additional rinsing and reduced drying to ensure gentle washing and thorough rinsing of your dark clothes

 Bedding: This option is used for washing bedspreads, blankets, and mattress covers. It is preferable to wash only one type at a time and not to exceed a laundry weight of 2kg for the best result
